Jeff Aylott MIMarEST,MIIMS, Marine Engineer & Surveyor
Jeff spent the first part of his career at sea with the British Merchant Navy rising to the rank of Chief Engineer, followed by 5 years in the Far East as a Marine Surveyor engaged in new build supervision, dry dockings and damage surveys.Moving back to Europe, Jeff spent 10 years in the Port of Rotterdam, inspecting ballast tanks, boilers and engine room machinery while advising on all aspects of water treatment on board vessels.Having spent many years sailing and repairing yachts of all types Jeff is well versed in what an Owner wants from a boat and offers a personal service whether you are buying or repairing a yacht.
Now operating out of the UK and Portugal, Jeff carries out surveys on all types of small craft and yachts as well as providing routine machinery & electrical maintenance.
